April 5th and 6th.
To register for this workshop please pay at the Northern Life Museum & Cultural Centre to confirm

This exciting two-day workshop provides an introduction to dance and physical improvisation.
Participants will be lead through a series of dance exercises and play-based improvisation games
as they explore rhythm, dynamics, spatial awareness in a fun and encouraging atmosphere.
Participants will learn dance steps, a simple dance routine and work together to make a dance,
using improvisation as inspiration.
The workshop is open to children (aged 8 and up) and adults with little to no dance experience.
A willingness to play, a general level of fitness, and an open mind are required.
Some session will be specific to children, some for teenagers & adults and some will integrate
