The Workshop: Beginner’s Drawing Workshop
Participants will be instructed in the fundamentals of basic drawing skills.
Through demonstrations, formal instruction and hands-on practice students
will form general skills to advance their techniques. Students will gain experience
through observation, exploration and creativity.
The Instructor: Lori Warren
Born in Berywn, Alberta and lived in BC, Yukon Territory and the Northwest Territories,
Lori has always had an interest in drawing and arts and crafts of all kinds. She works
in mediums such as oils, pastels, charcoal and acrylics. Her preference however, is
graphite.She has had no formal training, reads up on and studies different techniques
to develop her skills.
She has donated custom portraits for charitable causes; been commissioned to do
various pieces, and loves to give her art work as gifts to family and friends.
One of her greatest rewards is seeing the reaction of the people who receive
her finished work. Having a gift that gives others such joy is the greatest reward.
