Jazz Legend Jackie Richardson performs with renowned daughter Kim Richardson, a gifted singer who has her own successful musical career. Both
are proud to be performing as a mother-daughter team, for the first time together in the Northwest Territories.

Jackie Richardson possesses a powerful and supple voice that is a perfect match for her vibrant stage presence. The awards and nominations for
Jackie’s four-decade-long body of work include JUNOs, Geminis, Jessie and Bessies, Maple Blues and a Canadian Black Achievement Award for the
Arts. She has starred opposite Christopher Reeve, Sidney Poitier, Jane Seymour, and Keifer Sutherland. Jackie has also hosted radio, television,
and stage shows. Last year Jackie performed at NACC in Africville Stories and practically blew the roof off the building with her powerful vocals.

Kim Richardson is a multi-faceted performer with training and experience in film, dance and theatre. Her talents have taken her across Canada as
well as some parts of the US, Africa, South America and many countries in Europe. She had the honour of singing for Nelson Mandela, HRH Queen Elizabeth, Prime Ministers Brian Mulroney and Jean Chretien, as well as Governor General Adrienne Clarkson.
